Nucleus of Technology in Composites – NTC

The Nucleus of Technology in Composites (NTC) is a laboratory for developing technology in composites, also acting in developing human resources in graduate and undergraduate levels.

NTC was founded in 2012 using funding from FINEP and REUNI, plus funding from R&D projects on large businesses, such as EMBRAER, ALSTOM GRID, HELIBRAS and JACTO. The lab currently involves 20 students (undergraduate and graduate) acting in six research lines: design and analysis of composite structures, processing, mechanical, thermal and rheological properties, non-destructive testing, composite repair and quality control.
